Subject-Specific Qualifications
Sanskrit
- Shastri or an equivalent traditional Sanskrit examination with Sanskrit medium.
- Shiksha Shastri/Degree or Diploma in Education recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE).
Hindi, English, and Mathematics
- Graduate or equivalent examination with the concerned subject as an optional subject.
- Degree or Diploma in Education recognized by the NCTE.
Science
- Graduate or equivalent examination with at least two of the following subjects as optional:

Nationality
- Candidates must be Indian citizens.
Domicile
- Reserved Category Benefits (SC/ST/OBC/MBC/EWS/Ex-Servicemen): Only applicable to Rajasthan state domicile holders.
- General Category: Open to candidates from all states of India.
Note: Women married to Rajasthan state domicile holders from other states are not eligible for SC/ST/OBC/MBC/EWS category benefits.
