Exam Pattern Overview
The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) Senior Teacher examination for the Sanskrit Education Department is structured to assess candidates' subject knowledge and teaching aptitude. The exam consists of two papers:
- Paper I: General knowledge and educational psychology (common for all subjects)
- Paper II: Subject-specific knowledge and teaching methods
The examination is conducted in offline mode with multiple-choice questions (MCQs). Negative marking is applicable, with 1/3rd of the marks deducted for each wrong answer. The total duration of the exam is 5 hours (2 hours for Paper I and 2.5 hours for Paper II).

Marking Scheme
- Total Marks: 500 (200 for Paper I + 300 for Paper II)
- Negative Marking: 1/3rd of the marks assigned to a question are deducted for each incorrect answer.

Exam-Day Tips

Admit Card: Ensure you carry a printed copy of your RPSC Senior Teacher Admit Card along with a valid photo ID (Aadhar Card, Voter ID, etc.).

Stationery: Bring a blue/black ballpoint pen for marking answers on the OMR sheet. Pencils and erasers are not allowed.

- Allocate time wisely for each section.
- Attempt easier questions first to maximize your score.
- Keep 10-15 minutes at the end to review your answers.

Negative Marking: Avoid guesswork. Only answer questions you are confident about to minimize negative marking.
