RSMSSB Supervisor (Women Empowerment) Exam 2024: Eligibility Criteria

Note:
- Widows and divorced women must not exceed the state government’s retirement age.
- Age relaxation is non-cumulative; candidates can avail only one relaxation.
Other Requirements for RSMSSB Supervisor (Women Empowerment) Exam
Domicile and Residence
- General Posts: Open to all Indian citizens. However, candidates from other states applying under reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC/MBC/EWS) will be treated as General Category candidates.
- Scheduled Area Posts: Only local residents of Rajasthan’s Scheduled Areas are eligible. Candidates must provide proof of residence in the Scheduled Area since January 1, 1970, or their parents/ancestors must have resided there before this date.
Physical and Medical Standards
- Candidates must be in good mental and physical health and free from any defects that may hinder their duties.
- A medical fitness certificate from the Chief Medical and Health Officer or a Medical Jurist of the candidate’s district of residence is required at the time of document verification.
Character and Conduct
- Candidates must possess a good character and provide:
- A character certificate from the head of the institution where they last studied.
- Two character certificates from responsible persons (non-relatives) dated within 6 months of the application.
- A police verification certificate must be submitted post-selection, confirming no criminal record that would disqualify them from government service.
Marital Status and Family Planning
- Male Candidates: Those with more than one living wife are ineligible unless exempted by the government for special reasons.
- Female Candidates: Those married to a man with a living wife are ineligible unless exempted by the government for special reasons.
- Dowry Prohibition: Candidates who accepted dowry at the time of marriage are ineligible.
- Family Planning Norms: Candidates with more than two children as of June 1, 2002, are ineligible unless:

Document Verification
Candidates must submit the following documents during verification:
