Vacancy Details

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualifications

Candidates must possess the following second-class postgraduate degrees from a university established by law in India for the respective posts:

Additional Requirements:

• Working knowledge of Hindi written in Devnagri script and knowledge of Rajasthan culture are mandatory for all posts.
• Candidates appearing in the final year of their qualifying degree are eligible to apply but must provide proof of qualification before the interview.

Note:

• Age relaxation is non-cumulative (only one relaxation can be availed).
• Candidates must be permanent residents of Rajasthan to avail reservation benefits for SC/ST/OBC/MBC/EWS categories.
• Domicile requirement: Reservation benefits are exclusively for Rajasthan state candidates. Candidates from other states must apply under the General category.

How to Apply

Step-by-Step Application Process

1. Check Eligibility:

   • Ensure you meet the educational qualifications, age limit, and domicile requirements for the desired post.

2. One-Time Registration (OTR):

   • Visit the RPSC Recruitment Portal: https://rpsc.rajasthan.gov.in.
   • Click on "Apply Online" or log in via SSO Rajasthan (https://sso.rajasthan.gov.in).
   • Complete One-Time Registration (OTR) by providing details like name, father’s name, date of birth, gender, secondary exam details, and ID proof (Aadhar/PAN/Voter ID/Driving License).
   • Note: No corrections are allowed in OTR details (name, father’s name, DOB, gender) after submission.

3. Fill the Online Application Form:

   • Select the RPSC ARO & AARO Exam 2025 from the list of active recruitments.
   • Fill in personal details, educational qualifications, post preferences, and reservation category (if applicable).
   • Upload scanned copies of the following documents:
     • Photograph (passport size, JPEG format, 50-100 KB).
     • Signature (JPEG format, 20-50 KB).
     • Category certificate (if applicable, PDF format, max 500 KB).
     • Educational qualification certificates (PDF format, max 500 KB).
   • Note: Ensure all details match the original documents to avoid rejection.

4. Pay the Application Fee:

   • Note: Candidates from other states must pay the General category fee (₹350).
   • Payment can be made via online modes (Debit Card/Credit Card/Net Banking) through the RPSC portal.

5. Submit the Application:

   • Review the preview of the application form to ensure all details are correct.
   • Click "Submit" to finalize the application.
   • Save/Print the application form and fee receipt for future reference.
   • Note: Applications submitted after the deadline (03 March 2022, 12:00 AM) will not be accepted.

6. Application Correction (if required):

   • Corrections can be made within 10 days of the application deadline by paying a fee of ₹500.
   • A 10-day edit window will also open 45 days before the exam date (if applicable).
   • Note: No corrections are allowed after the final edit window closes.

Important Notes for Applicants

• Mobile Number & Email ID: Use a valid and active mobile number and email ID for communication. RPSC will send SMS and email alerts for admit cards, exam dates, and results.
• Category Selection: Ensure you select the correct category (SC/ST/OBC/MBC/EWS/Ex-serviceman/PwBD) during application. No changes will be allowed after the deadline.
• Document Verification: Selected candidates must submit original documents for verification during the interview stage. Failure to do so will result in disqualification.
• Ex-servicemen: Must provide a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the competent authority if applying under the ex-serviceman quota.
• Widows/Divorcees: Must submit a death certificate of husband (for widows) or divorce decree (for divorcees) to avail reservation benefits.
• Persons with Disabilities (PwBD): Must submit a disability certificate (40% or more) issued by a competent medical authority.

Exam Pattern & Syllabus

Selection Process

The selection process for RPSC ARO & AARO consists of the following stages:

1. Screening Test (if applicable):

   • Conducted only if the number of applications exceeds a threshold.
   • Objective-type (MCQ) exam to shortlist candidates for the interview.
   • Marking Scheme: Will be updated when available.
   • Syllabus: To be released on the RPSC website.

2. Interview:

   • Candidates who qualify the screening test (if conducted) or apply in limited numbers will be called for an interview.
   • The interview assesses subject knowledge, communication skills, and suitability for the role.
   • Final selection is based on interview performance.

Admit Card

• The admit card will be released 10-15 days before the exam/interview on the RPSC official website.
• Candidates must download the admit card using their application number and date of birth.
• No physical admit cards will be sent by post.
• Mandatory Documents at Exam Center:
  • Printed admit card.
  • Original photo ID proof (Aadhar card/PAN card/Voter ID/Driving License).
  • Passport-size photograph (same as uploaded in the application).

Result

• The result will be published on the RPSC official website.
• Candidates can check their results using their roll number or application number.
• Final merit list will be prepared based on interview marks (or screening test + interview marks, if applicable).
• Selected candidates will be called for document verification before the final appointment.
