RPSC Lecturer (Ayurved) Exam Vacancy Details

The RPSC has announced a total of 09 vacancies across 8 Ayurvedic subjects. The vacancies are distributed as follows:

Note:

• The number of vacancies is subject to change based on departmental requirements.
• Reservation for SC, ST, OBC, MBC, EWS, Women, Ex-Servicemen, and Persons with Disabilities (PwD) will be applied as per Rajasthan Government norms. Horizontal reservation is applicable within each category.
• Vacancies for Kayachikitsa are reserved for ST candidates.

Eligibility Criteria for RPSC Lecturer (Ayurved) Exam

Educational Qualifications

Candidates must fulfill the following educational criteria to be eligible for the RPSC Lecturer (Ayurved) Exam:

1. Basic Qualification:

   • A degree in Ayurveda from a university established by law in India or a statutory board/faculty/examining body of Indian Medicine or an equivalent qualification recognized under the Indian Medicine Central Council Act, 1970.

2. Postgraduate Qualification:

   • A postgraduate qualification in the subject/specialty concerned included in the Schedule to the Indian Medicine Central Council Act, 1970.

3. Additional Requirements:

   • Working knowledge of Hindi written in Devanagari script.
   • Knowledge of Rajasthan Culture.

Note:

• Candidates appearing in the final year of their postgraduate degree are also eligible to apply, provided they submit proof of qualification before the written examination.

Note:

• Age relaxation is applicable as per Rajasthan Government norms (see Age Relaxation section).

• For posts advertised for the first time (S.No. 06 to 08), no additional relaxation is applicable.

The RPSC Lecturer (Ayurved) Exam consists of a single written paper with the following structure:

• Question Type: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).
• Marking Scheme: +1 mark for each correct answer.
• Negative Marking: 1/3 mark deducted for each wrong answer.
• Medium of Exam: English and Hindi.

Selection Process

The selection process for the RPSC Lecturer (Ayurved) Exam consists of the following stages:

Key Notes on Reservation:

• Horizontal Reservation: Applicable within each vertical category (e.g., women, ex-servicemen, PwD).
• Rajasthan Domicile: Reservation benefits are only for Rajasthan state domiciles. Candidates from other states must apply under the General category.
• Creamy Layer: OBC/MBC candidates in the creamy layer must apply under the General category.
• Widow/Divorcee/Deserted Women: No upper age limit for these categories.

Mandatory Documents

1. Educational Certificates:
