RPSC Statistical Officer Educational Qualification 2025
Candidates must possess one of the following qualifications from a university established by law in India or a foreign qualification recognized as equivalent by the Government of India:

- Economics, or
- Statistics, or
- Mathematics with a paper in Statistics, or
- Commerce with Statistics, or
- M.Sc (Agriculture) Statistics.

- A Certificate (RS-CIT course) conducted by Rajasthan Knowledge Corporation Limited, awarded by Vardhaman Mahaveer Open University, Kota or any equivalent certificate recognized by the Department of Information Technology and Communication, Government of Rajasthan.

- One year of experience in handling official statistics in a Government Department, reputed commercial concern, or University.
- Exemptions: Candidates with the following qualifications do not require experience:
- First-class Master’s degree or Doctorate in any of the specified subjects.
- Two years’ training in Statistics from a recognized Statistical Institute or University.
- One-year Diploma Course from a recognized University or Institution with Statistics and Economics as optional papers.
- Belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC) or Scheduled Tribes (ST).

Notes:
- Non-cumulative: Only one type of age relaxation can be availed (e.g., a candidate cannot combine SC relaxation with Ex-servicemen relaxation).
- Additional relaxation for PwBD: The 5-year relaxation for PwBD is in addition to any other applicable relaxation.
- Widows/Divorcees: Must provide a death certificate (for widows) or divorce decree (for divorcees) issued by a competent authority.
- Ex-servicemen: Must provide a No Objection Certificate (NOC) or retirement proof as per rules.
RPSC Statistical Officer Other Requirements 2025
1. Number of Children
- Candidates with more than two children as of June 1, 2002, are ineligible for appointment.
- Exceptions:
- If the third child is born after June 1, 2002, the candidate remains eligible.
- If the first child is disabled, they are not counted toward the limit.
- Widows, divorcees, and women with annulled marriages are exempt from this rule.
2. Character and Conduct
- Candidates must submit a character certificate from their last educational institution, stating "Good" conduct.
- A police verification certificate will be required post-selection, confirming no criminal record that would disqualify the candidate from government service.
3. Medical Fitness
- Candidates must be medically fit and provide a medical certificate from a competent authority post-selection, confirming suitability for state service.
4. No Objection Certificate (NOC)
- Government employees (Central/State/Government Undertakings) must submit an NOC from their employer if selected.
5. Marriage Registration
- Marriage registration is mandatory for appointment (as per Government Circular dated May 22, 2006).
6. Document Verification
- Candidates must submit original documents for verification post-selection, including:
- Educational certificates.
- Caste/category certificates (SC/ST/OBC/MBC/EWS).
- Experience certificates (if applicable).
- Domicile certificate (for reserved category candidates).
- Disability certificate (for PwBD candidates).

RPSC Statistical Officer Selection Process 2025
The selection process consists of the following stages:

- Objective-type questions (150 questions, 150 marks).
- Duration: 2 hours and 30 minutes.
- Negative marking: 1/3 mark deducted for each wrong answer.
