Exam Pattern Overview
The RPSC Assistant Professor (Medical Education) examination is conducted by the Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) to recruit Assistant Professors across various medical specialties in Rajasthan. The selection process consists of two stages:
- Written Examination (150 marks)
- Interview (15 marks)
The final merit list is prepared based on the combined marks of the written examination and interview, with the interview accounting for no more than 10% of the total marks considered for selection.

Marking Scheme
The marking scheme for the RPSC Assistant Professor (Medical Education) exam is as follows:
- Correct Answer: +1 mark
- Incorrect Answer: -1/3 mark (Negative Marking)
- Unattempted Question: 0 marks (No negative marking)
Special Instructions for OMR Sheet:
- Each question has five options (1, 2, 3, 4, 5). Candidates must darken only one circle for the correct answer using a blue ballpoint pen.
- It is mandatory to fill one option for each question.
- If a question is not attempted, candidates must darken circle ‘5’. Failure to do so will result in a deduction of 1/3 mark for that question.
- Candidates must ensure they darken one circle for each question. An extra 10 minutes is provided for this purpose after the exam duration.
- If a candidate fails to darken any option in more than 10% of the questions, they will be disqualified.
