RPSC Deputy Commandant 2025: Timeline
Pre-Examination Timeline
- 18th March 2025: RPSC releases the official notification for Deputy Commandant recruitment (Advertisement No. 26/Exam/Dy. Commandant/RPSC/EP-I/2024-25).
- 24th March 2025: Online application process begins. Candidates must register via the RPSC official website or the SSO Rajasthan portal.
- 22nd April 2025: Last date to submit the online application form. Applications must be completed by 12:00 AM (midnight).
- 23rd April 2025 - 2nd May 2025: Application correction window opens for candidates to rectify errors in their submitted forms. A fee of ₹800 is applicable for corrections.
Examination Timeline
- Admit Card Release: The admit card will be released on the RPSC official website. Candidates must download it using their application number and date of birth. Exact date will be updated when available.
- Written Examination: The exam will be conducted in offline/online mode and will consist of 150 objective-type questions covering General Knowledge & General Science. The duration of the exam is 2 hours and 30 minutes. Exact date will be updated when available.
- Interview: Candidates who qualify the written examination will be called for an interview, which carries 15 marks. Exact date will be updated when available.
Post-Examination Timeline
- Result Declaration: The final result will be published on the RPSC official website. The merit list will be prepared based on the combined marks of the written exam and interview.
- Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates must submit original documents for verification as per the RPSC guidelines.

1. Online Application Submission (24th March - 22nd April 2025)
- Candidates must complete the One Time Registration (OTR) on the SSO Rajasthan portal before applying.
- Ensure all details, such as name, date of birth, and educational qualifications, match the documents.
- Upload a live photograph and scanned signature as per the specifications.
- Pay the application fee:
- General/OBC (Creamy Layer)/MBC (Creamy Layer): ₹600
- Reserved Categories (SC/ST/OBC-Non Creamy Layer/MBC-Non Creamy Layer/EWS/Saharia Tribe): ₹400
- Divyangjan (Persons with Disabilities): ₹400
2. Application Correction Window (23rd April - 2nd May 2025)
- Candidates can edit their application forms for errors except for name, father’s name, date of birth, and gender.
- A fee of ₹800 is applicable for corrections.
- No further corrections will be allowed after this period.
3. Admit Card Release (Tentative)
- The admit card will be available for download on the RPSC website.
- Candidates must carry a printed copy of the admit card, a photograph, and a valid photo ID to the examination center.
4. Written Examination (Tentative)
- The exam will be objective-type with negative marking (1/3rd marks deducted for each wrong answer).
- Candidates must fill the OMR sheet using a blue ballpoint pen.
- No changes will be allowed in the exam center or schedule after the admit card is issued.
5. Interview (Tentative)
- Shortlisted candidates will be notified via the RPSC website.
- The interview carries 15 marks and assesses the candidate’s suitability for the role.
Important Notes for Candidates
- Eligibility: Candidates must meet the age and educational qualifications as specified in the notification. The minimum age is 20 years, and the maximum age is 40 years as of 1st January 2026. Age relaxations apply for reserved categories.
- Reservation: Reservations are applicable for SC, ST, OBC, MBC, EWS, Ex-Servicemen, and Divyangjan candidates as per Rajasthan government norms.
- Document Verification: Candidates must submit original documents for verification at the time of selection. Failure to do so will result in disqualification.
- Exam Centers: The exam will be held in Ajmer and Jaipur. The exact center will be mentioned on the admit card.
