RPSC Veterinary Officer Age Limit
The RPSC Veterinary Officer Exam 2025 has specific age criteria for candidates as of January 1, 2026:
- Minimum Age: 20 years
- Maximum Age: 40 years
Note: Candidates who exceed the maximum age limit as of January 1, 2026, but were within the limit on January 1, 2020 (for the 2019 recruitment cycle), are eligible for a 3-year age relaxation as per service rules.
RPSC Veterinary Officer Educational Qualification
To apply for the RPSC Veterinary Officer Exam 2025, candidates must meet the following educational requirements:

Degree Requirement:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry or its equivalent from a university established by law in India.

- Candidates must be registered (temporary or permanent) with the Rajasthan Veterinary Council, Jaipur, by the last date of application.

Internship:
- The mandatory internship must be completed before the date of the written examination.

Language and Cultural Knowledge:
- Working knowledge of Hindi written in Devanagari script.
- Knowledge of Rajasthani culture.
Note: Candidates appearing in the final year of their degree may apply, but they must provide proof of qualification before the written examination.
RPSC Veterinary Officer Nationality and Domicile Requirements
- Nationality: Candidates must be Indian citizens.
- Domicile:
- Reserved category benefits (SC/ST/OBC/MBC/EWS/Ex-Servicemen) are exclusively for Rajasthan state domiciles.
- Candidates from other states applying under reserved categories will be considered under the General (Unreserved) category.
- Exception: Women married to Rajasthan domiciles cannot claim reserved category benefits unless they were domiciled in Rajasthan before marriage.

Note:

- Candidates with more than two children born on or after June 1, 2002, are ineligible for appointment.
