RSSB Platoon Commander Eligibility Criteria 2025

Introduction

The Rajasthan Staff Selection Board (RSSB) has released the eligibility criteria for the RSSB Platoon Commander Direct Recruitment 2025. Age Limit for RSSB Platoon Commander 2025

• Age relaxation is non-cumulative. Candidates can avail only one category of age relaxation.

Educational Qualification for RSSB Platoon Commander 2025

Candidates must fulfill one of the following educational qualifications to be eligible for the RSSB Platoon Commander post:

1. Graduation: A bachelor’s degree from a university recognized by law in India.
2. Ex-Servicemen: Retired personnel holding the rank of Naib Subedar or higher in the Indian Armed Forces.

5. Person of Indian Origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, or Vietnam with the intention of permanent settlement in India.

• Candidates falling under categories 2, 3, 4, or 5 must possess a valid eligibility certificate issued by the Government of India.
• Such candidates may be allowed to appear for the examination provisionally but will be required to submit the eligibility certificate before final appointment.

Age Relaxation for Reserved Categories

Other Requirements for RSSB Platoon Commander 2025

Domicile

• Candidates must be permanent residents of Rajasthan to avail reservations under SC/ST/OBC/MBC/EWS categories.
• Non-Rajasthan candidates from reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC/MBC/EWS) will be treated as General category candidates and are not eligible for reservation benefits.

Character and Health
