Educational Qualification for RSSB Platoon Commander 2025
Candidates must fulfill one of the following educational qualifications to be eligible for the RSSB Platoon Commander post:
- Graduation: A bachelor’s degree from a university recognized by law in India.
- Ex-Servicemen: Retired personnel holding the rank of Naib Subedar or higher in the Indian Armed Forces.

- Candidates falling under categories 2, 3, 4, or 5 must possess a valid eligibility certificate issued by the Government of India.
- Such candidates may be allowed to appear for the examination provisionally but will be required to submit the eligibility certificate before final appointment.

Character and Health
- Character Certificate: Candidates must submit a character certificate from their last educational institution, stating that their character is "Good." Additionally, two character certificates from gazetted officers are required.
- Medical Fitness: Candidates must be medically fit and free from any physical or mental conditions that could hinder their duties. A medical certificate from a Chief Medical and Health Officer or Medical Jurist of the district is mandatory.
Additional Requirements
- Marriage Registration: Mandatory for all candidates as per Government of Rajasthan circular dated May 22, 2006.
- No Objection Certificate (NOC): Required for candidates already employed in government or semi-government organizations.
- Family Declaration: Married women must declare the number of children. Divorced women must submit an affidavit stating they have not remarried.

Note:
