   • Drainage: benefits, surface drainage, and design of surface and subsurface drainage.
   • Groundwater prospects, water lifting devices, and water resources development.

3. Farm Power and Machinery:

   • Primary and secondary tillage machinery, their selection, operation, field capacity, and efficiency.
   • Machinery for sowing, intercultural operations, and grain harvesting.
   • Farm tractors: introduction, different systems, and maintenance.

4. Agricultural Processing:

   • Mass and energy balance in food engineering, size reduction, and material handling.
   • Principles of drying, drying equipment, and use of psychrometric charts.
   • Processing of milk, dairy equipment, and storage of grains.
   • Principles of food preservation, rice, and pulse milling.

5. Renewable Energy Sources:

Important Notes

1. Eligibility:

   • Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Engineering from a recognized university.
   • Knowledge of Hindi written in Devanagari script and Rajasthan’s culture is mandatory.

2. Age Limit:

   • Minimum age: 18 years as of January 1, 2025.
   • Maximum age: 40 years as of January 1, 2025.
