Statement: In view of the severe heat waves passing through the state, the Government has asked all the schools to remain closed for the next fortnight with immediate effect.
Assumptions:
I. The heat waves may not continue beyond a fortnight.
II. The parents of the students may not allow their wards to attend school even after a fortnight.
The government must have taken this decision of closing the schools for the next fortnight keeping in mind the weather forecasting of the Meteorological Department, if the heat waves may not continue beyond a fortnight, this strengthens the decision taken by the government. Furthermore, the government wants school-going children to come back to daily-routine of attending schools after a fortnight but if the parents of the students are not willing to send them to schools even after a fortnight, then this goes against the statement.
