RSMSSB CET Senior Secondary Level Recruitment 2026: Apply Guide & Exam Pattern
The Rajasthan Staff Selection Board (RSSB) conducts the Common Eligibility Test (CET) for Senior Secondary (12th) Level to shortlist candidates for various subordinate and clerical posts in Rajasthan.

New Exam Pattern & Scheme
The board has updated the exam pattern, changing the number of questions, total marks, time limit, and marking scheme:
- Total Questions: 120 questions (previously 150)
- Total Marks: 240 marks (previously 300)
- Time Duration: 02:30 Hours (150 minutes)
- Question Type: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)
- Marking Scheme: Each correct question carries 2 marks.
- Negative Marking: 1/3 mark deduction of the question's value (i.e., 0.67 marks will be deducted for every incorrect answer).
OMR 5-Option Instruction
For every question, candidates will have 5 options (A, B, C, D, and E) on the OMR sheet.
- If you are attempting the question, mark A, B, C, or D.
- If you wish to leave the question unattempted, you MUST darken Option E.
- Failing to mark Option E for an unattempted question will attract a 1/3 negative marking penalty for that question.
- If you leave more than 10% of total questions completely blank (neither A, B, C, D, nor E marked), you will be disqualified from the exam.
- Candidates receive an additional 10 minutes after the 2.5-hour duration to verify and complete their OMR markings.
