Eligibility Criteria
Nationality
Candidates must be:
- A citizen of India, or
- A subject of Nepal, or
- A subject of Bhutan, or
- A Tibetan refugee who came to India before 1 January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
- A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries (Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, and Ethiopia) with the intention of permanently settling in India.
Note: Candidates falling under categories (b), (c), (d), and (e) must possess a certificate of eligibility issued by the Government of India.
Age Limit (as on 1 January 2025)
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age: 40 years
Age Relaxation:
- General Category Women: 5 years
- SC/ST/OBC/EWS/MBC (Men, Rajasthan Domicile): 5 years
- SC/ST/OBC/EWS/MBC (Women, Rajasthan Domicile): 10 years
- Ex-Servicemen: 50 years (with additional relaxations for specific categories)
- Persons with Disabilities (PwD): 5 years (additional to category relaxation)
- Widows and Divorced Women: No upper age limit (subject to retirement age)
Note: Age relaxation is non-cumulative. Only one relaxation category can be availed.
Educational Qualification
- Minimum Qualification: Senior Secondary (10+2) or equivalent from a recognized board.
- Candidates appearing in the final year of their qualifying examination are eligible to apply, provided they submit proof of passing before the main recruitment exam for the specific post.

Step-by-Step Application Process

One Time Registration (OTR):
- Visit the official RSMSSB portal: http://rsmssb.rajasthan.gov.in or http://rssb.rajasthan.gov.in.
- Click on the "Recruitment Advertisement" and then "Apply Online."
- Alternatively, log in via the SSO portal: http://sso.rajasthan.gov.in.
- If you do not have an OTR, create one by providing personal details, category, disability status, and domicile.
- Pay the One Time Registration (OTR) fee as applicable (see Application Fee).
- Complete the E-KYC process by uploading a live photograph and handwritten sample.

Important Instructions for Candidates
- Eligibility: Candidates must ensure they meet all eligibility criteria before applying. Applications of ineligible candidates will be rejected.
- Application Form: Fill the application form carefully. No changes can be made after the final submission.
- Documents: Upload clear and legible documents as per the specifications. Blurred or tampered documents will lead to rejection.
- Exam Day:
- Carry the admit card, photo ID, and a recent photograph to the exam center.
- Follow the dress code specified by the board.
- Do not carry mobile phones, electronic devices, or any prohibited items to the exam center.
- Report to the exam center 1.5 hours before the exam time for biometric verification.
