RSMSSB CET Senior Secondary Level Cutoff 2026: Qualifying Criteria
The RSMSSB Common Eligibility Test (CET) is a qualifying examination. To be eligible for the mains exams of subsequent recruitments (such as Constable, Forester, or Junior Assistant), candidates must meet the minimum qualifying thresholds set by the board.
Minimum Qualifying Marks
According to the official service rules, candidates must score the following minimum percentages to qualify:
- General / OBC / MBC / EWS Categories: 40% Marks
- Required Score: 96 Marks out of 240.
- SC / ST Categories (Rajasthan Domicile): 35% Marks (5% relaxation)
- Required Score: 84 Marks out of 240.
Note: Achieving the minimum qualifying marks guarantees that you will receive a CET scorecard valid for 1 year. However, selection for the mains exam is subject to the 15x vacancy rule.
The 15x Selection Rule (15 गुना नियम)
For subsequent recruitment examinations conducted for specific departments (e.g. Rajasthan Police for Constable or JDA for Junior Assistant):
- The department will release the vacancy list.
- The board will invite applications from CET-qualified candidates.
- Out of the applicants, the board will call candidates equal to 15 times (15x) the number of vacancies in each category based on their CET merit scores.
- Therefore, candidates with higher scores in the CET have a significantly higher chance of participating in all subsequent recruitment drives.
